Domaine des Terres Falmet Mourvèdre 2019 Vin de France

“The Pinot-like face of Mourvèdre. It’s rare to taste a Mourvèdre so translucent, so elegant, so light touch. The blue fruit is clear as a bell, the tannins feel as soft as peeled plum skins, the spine of the wine is long and dark-stoned, the finish is fragrant, fresh, forest, garrigue.

You could not find Mourvèdre as gentle as this, possibly anywhere in the world. And yet it is St-Chinian to it very core”. VGV (TC) jancisrobinson.com

Full bottle 1,156 g. Certified HVE. Pesticide-free vineyards. Hand-picked grapes.

Old-vine Mourvèdre from St-Chinian, but because St-Chinian AOC regulations stipulate that wines must be a blend, this has to be Vin de France.
